Project Engineer Job In Rhome

We are looking for a Project Engineer to work in our Rhome, TX facility. The Project Engineer role will focus on manage engineering projects; ensure site safety in all work performed, design new equipment and improve and increase the capacity of existing equipment to support the company in achieving business goals, thus expanding, and increasing profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects for the design, specification, and build of new equipment so as to support the company in achieving business goals, thus expanding and increasing profitability.
  • Act as the project manager on all aspects of engineering projects including, but not limited to budget preparation, project planning with timelines, risk assessments, supervision of construction phases, progress chasing, contractor organization, and preparation of work instructions.
  • Provide support and technical evaluation for the purchase of capital equipment and external Engineering resources
  • Ensure risk assessments and hazard identification are carried out for all tasks being undertaken by you, your colleagues, and sub-contractors under your direct control. Implement any necessary control measures and risk assessments
  • Support the team with repairs for the whole site and equipment development so that all equipment is operating at a high aesthetic standard.
  • Follow the Engineering project process including risk assessment, HAZID, HAZHOP, and pre-start-up safety reviews.
  • Ensure that both yourself and all colleagues within your team work in accordance with all company policies relating to health and safety including Lockout, Tagout, working at heights, and any other life-critical procedures.

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field
    • At least 5 years experience of working in an operational/chemical processing environment
    • Previous experience/knowledge of the oil and/or gas sector
    • Experience of managing engineering projects from concept to delivery
    • Experience of using AutoCAD or similar
    • Computer literate with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel
  • Desirable
    • Understanding of chemical processing techniques such as fractional distillation

Cylinder Exchange Technician-Seattle, WA

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CYLINDER EXCHANGE TECHNICIAN
As a Cylinder Exchange Technician, you are on the front line with our customers and prospects in a specific territory, handling our “Rapid Exchange” program. Job duties include:

  • Operate the A-Gas cylinder exchange program by picking up and dropping off refrigerant gas cylinders at customer locations via a box truck.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and properly label cylinders.
  • Operate a pallet jack and lift gate to load and unload shipments.
  • Consolidate refrigerants into half-ton cylinders.
  • Assist with the sourcing of gas by looking for additional gas to bring back to the company for reclamation or destruction purposes.
  • Keep accurate reports and submit daily work orders and weekly expense reports on-time.
  • Provide care for your assigned vehicle by keeping it in good condition and maintained according to the vehicle manual
  • Work safely and report any safety concerns
  • Other job duties as identified

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CYLINDER EXCHANGE TECHNICIAN

  • High school diploma/GED
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Have a CDL Class C license and able to obtain hazmat endorsement within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to obtain EPA 608 license within 30 days of employment
  • Excellent reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather and spend a lot of time driving
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs

ENGINEERING MANAGER-RHOME TEXAS

As our Engineering Manager, you will work with the Director of Operations to lead projects that support the growth of the business, aid in continuous improvement of production facilities, and support, develop and train your team of engineering professionals. This role will drive all necessary safety and environmental standards with regard to projects and plant production support and will significantly impact the strategic direction of the facility.

    • Collaborate and support the Maintenance team in maintaining site equipment, ensuring that systems are electrically and mechanically safe, calibrated, functioning to design and within the test.

The Project controls specialist will be managing the cost and centralized schedule of multiple Engineering Projects by providing updates and support to project managers to ensure budget and timeline requirements are met. Key Responsibilities
Support the project manager in maintaining project plan to budget for Costing and Scheduling:

  • Maintain Microsoft Project updates with accurate reporting of daily activities, cost tracking, and budget management by working closely with Project managers and engineering teams
    • Regularly communicate the progress of purchasing, goods receipts, and tracking material
    • Track lead times on inbound parts and equipment
    • Organize inbound packages
    • Support process improvement of goods received process
  • Manage Engineering purchase orders via accounting systems
    • Generate project forecasts by collaborating with Project Managers
    • Create requests for proposals and manage bid tabs, ensuring accuracy, clarity of description, and pricing

Requirements:

  • College Degree required experience in lieu of degree will be considered
